Why I Tell Everyone I Can

Telling the public I have MS was not an easy decision. My first reaction after being diagnosed was to learn as much as I can about the disease and then keep it all to myself. Many people have this reaction, and then continue to learn more but refuse to tell others about it. I started that way too, but after seeing how many people confused the disease with muscular dystrophy or how people just didn’t know anything about MS, I decided to start educating others about my disease.
