The MS Club
I am a proud member of a club I never, ever wanted to join: People with MS.
It’s a pretty big club. According to the latest statistics, there are 400,000 people with MS living in the United States, and 200 more are diagnosed each week.
Within this pretty large group, there are smaller subcommittees of like-minded people. Just because we all have MS doesn’t mean we necessarily have other stuff in common. I discovered this fact when I attended an MS support group that was anything BUT supportive.
