Pseudoexacerbations
So you catch a cold, develop a sinus infection, and notice that your MS symptoms start to emerge. Or you're having bladder issues and develop a urinary tract infection, which coincides with increased MS symptoms.
What do these situations have in common? Infection leading to increased MS symptoms.
The body tries to fight off an infection, which often causes the person's temperature to rise. Increased body temperature (as little as one degree Fahrenheit) can cause an MSer's symptoms to emerge or get worse.
